The Great Balance is a not-for–profit organization in the State of New York, registered by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions made to the Great Balance are fully tax deductible. We are also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers and gifts.

Individual contributions help The Great Balance to ensure that the Anti-venom Bank; maintains a constant reserve of units in the different parts of the Sierra to save lives of many indigenous individuals, particularly children and women, bitten by poisonous snakes.

Your donation may also go to the One Million Trees project and help to protect and regenerate the circulatory system of Mother Earth through lakes, ponds, rivers, and wells.

You may decide to contribute to the construction of the Bunchanavi Women’s Center, which seeks to be a permanent training and empowering space for Indigenous women who care for their families, their communities and ensure that new generations receive the legacy of the traditional knowledge and wisdom.

Your support; could go to the Education Project of the SNSM, including support for the education of the New Mamos, where they learn their wisdom, work, and rituals (pagamentos). Through pilgrimage to the sacred sites, Mamos take care daily to maintain the balance of the Sierra, the Arhuaco culture and of the planet.
